One Week From Now.
A week from now, I'll be officially launching the Our Parents website. Every Sunday, a new interview will be published, with men and women telling stories about the people who raised them. I'll be posting the link here and on facebook at that time.
Thanks so much to Katie Price for making the beautiful header (check out her services), and to Jocelyn McLean for once again organizing it all.

More Growing Up.
Ned is gone for the weekend, so it was a perfect excuse for something Denise had been wanting to do awhile now: rent a car. It's awesome to have a roommate with a truck, especially since we're only here for three months, but this is a town where it's hard to get anywhere without driving. It's nice to have the freedom to come and go.
Denise and I have never rented a car, but the process was pretty simple. We might do this quite often. We just keep piling on the grown-up activities, especially since we needed to be 25 years old (ka-ching!). Then, just to increase our grown-up-ness, Denise went to open a U.S. bank account. Slowly, we are creeping towards the American Dream.
Unfortunately, despite our newfound freedom with a car, we truly must creep: a heavy snowstorm has finally arrived in Saginaw, and while the trees and lawns look lovely, they make for rather treacherous driving conditions. Looks like we're staying in tonight.
